Trump believes that his approval rating among African Americans has grown, but it is not

President Donald trump wrote a tweet about the fact that his approval rating among African Americans has doubled. But, as CNN reports, the statements of the head of state does not coincide with reality.

«The unemployment rate among blacks is the lowest in history. Approval ratings trump African Americans has doubled. Thank you! This [record] will be even (much) better!» said trump on Twitter.

Unemployment for Black Americans is the lowest ever recorded. Trump approval rating with Black Americans has doubled. Thank you, and it will get even (much) better! @FoxNews

The most recent CNN poll in December 2017 shows that only 3% of African Americans said approval of the work of trump as President. And 91% said that they did not approve of his actions.

At the same time a year ago, according to the publication, the indicators were still higher. After the inauguration of the trump in January 2017, 15% of black Americans supported the new President.

If we talk about the unemployment rate among African Americans, according to the latest data, it actually fell to 6.8% — the lowest figure since 1972.

Tweet President appeared on the background of the racial scandal, when the American leader at a meeting with lawmakers at the White house called Haiti, El Salvador and Africa «smelly holes».

After the incident, the trump vehemently denied these words, and assured journalists that he is «the least racist person you’ve ever interviewed». Today, January 17, during a press conference, the President expelled the CNN correspondent from the Oval office over the issue of immigrants not from «white countries».
