Investigation of Russian interference in presidential elections in 2016 can close

Today, March 22, Committee on intelligence of the house of representatives intends to vote on the publication of the report by Republicans on possible intervention of Russia in the U.S. presidential election and, thus, officially closing the investigation.

According to the report of the Republican party, the Committee found no evidence of collusion Donald trump with Russia in the elections of 2016.

Democrats oppose termination of the investigation, considering it premature, and want to pursue it unilaterally.

As reported by NBC News, the Democrats presented the results of a new study conducted by a group of American Progress»s Moscow Project. The document says that the Committee on intelligence had overlooked «a lot of contacts between the presidential campaign and Moscow», and also not questioned many key witnesses.

«The American people deserve answers,» reads the study.

If the Committee on intelligence will vote for the publication of the report of the Republican party, it may manifest after a few weeks.
