The White house confirmed that today, June 20, the US President Donald trump will meet with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

«At 11.00 (18.00 Kyiv time) the President will meet with national security adviser Herbert McMaster, Vice-President Mike Pence and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.»
As The Guardian reports, the meeting will likely be brief and will not give answers to questions about the precise position of the White house in relation to Ukraine. It is assumed that Poroshenko will meet with Pennyand together they would go to Trump and his national security Advisor.
The format of the meeting means that Donald trump is not obliged to make statements on bilateral relations and its position regarding the military conflict in Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea in 2014-m to year.
It is expected that a key issue will be the continuation of anti-Russian sanctions, and the Minsk agreement.
We will remind, last week the Senate passed a bill to strengthen sanctions against Russia, but today it became known that the Republican majority of the house of representatives stopped a vote on sanctions against Russia, which had previously approved the the Senate. Now the bill referred to the Committee on foreign Affairs to evaluate its content.
Poroshenko himself noted that he will meet with the President of the United States before the Russian President.
«It is very important that my appointment as the Ukrainian President in the White house before meeting Putin. This is to ensure that all were armed with information and no one left no chance for injustice,» — said Poroshenko.
In turn, the Kremlin said that «race is irrelevant».
«We believe that it is inappropriate here to arrange some kind of race,» — said the press Secretary of Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov on a question of Ukrainian news Agency UNIAN.
