Colonel, U.S. Army Shawn Ryan told the media that the casualties among the Americans and the Kurds in the explosion there. Earlier, the Syrian monitoring centre for human rights (Syrian Observatory for Human Rights) said that the explosion killed five people and several others injured. Kurdish Hawar reported about two victims of the Kurdish fighters.

This is the second targeted attack by terrorists on the American military for a few days. In Manbij, which killed 19 people, including four Americans, terrorists blew up a bomb near a restaurant frequented by U.S. servicemen.
