The U.S. Congress plans to provide Ukraine assistance in the amount of $695,7 million. That’s $75 million more than last year.
According to the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA, the draft law on the appropriation of the Department of state, foreign operations and related programs for the 2019 financial year has been agreed by the Senate and House of representatives. In the amount of $695,7 million includes $250 million that was previously allocated to the Pentagon.
The program also allows for the possibility of allocating «funds to Ukraine under the provision of credit guarantees».

Yesterday, February 14, the U.S. Senate has supported the funding of several ministries to September this year to prevent another government closure. (The period of temporary cessation of the shutdown expires today, February 15.) Under the bill, for the construction of the wall on the U.S. border and Mexico will be allocated $1.37 billion instead of the $5.7 billion that required Donald trump. The document must pass a vote in the House of representatives and then signed by the President. The deadline for signing is today at 23.59.
However, yesterday the majority leader in the Senate Mitch McConnell said that immediately after the signing of a bipartisan agreement on the budget for trump to start the construction of the wall, declare in the country state of emergency.
