The youngest Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that he would bring legislation to block the announcement of President Donald trump regime of a state of emergency in the country.
She claims that she supports a Democrat Joaquin Castro, represents Texas in the lower house of Congress.

According to Joaquin Castro, the national law of 1976 gives Congress the authority to declare it by adopting a joint resolution.
The President declared a state of emergency due to the fact that Congress agreed to provide only $1,375 billion for the border wall. This is much less than he asked for. The state of emergency will allow Trump to allocate for the construction of the missing funds from other projects (totalling $8 billion).
