Donald trump in an hour today talking on the phone with Vladimir Putin, discussed the political developments in the United States, Russia and the world.

Press Secretary of the White house Sarah Sanders told reporters that the Mueller report about Moscow’s intervention in the elections in 2016 sounded «very, very briefly» during a conversation that lasted over an hour, and both leaders agreed that «collusion was not.» In her words, «the focus» during the conversation was paid to «explain that the United States supports the people of Venezuela», and to ensure access of the population to food, water and medicine.

On the website of the President of Russia also published an official statement about the conversation of the heads of state. In the Russian statement claimed that a significant part of the conversation was devoted to the results of the contacts between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-UN, recently completed a visit to Russia. «The parties noted the importance of continued progress towards the denuclearization and achieve long-term normalization on the Korean Peninsula», — stated on the website Putin. Also allegedly discussed the results of the elections in Ukraine and prospects of development of relations between the U.S. and Russia: «discussion of the current state and prospects of bilateral relations with focus on economic cooperation. The presidents called for the development of mutually beneficial trade and investment relations. Confirmed mutual intention to enhance dialogue in various fields, including on strategic stability.»

The last time the two leaders spoke by phone in March 2018 and, very briefly spoke in person at the November summit in Argentina.
