Alexander «Alex» Mikula seeks to represent the area of Ward I in the city Council of Rock springs (Wyoming). He said he wants to go into politics and he knows he must start small and move up.
Alex is 21 years old, he graduated from high school in 2015 and enrolled in Western Wyoming Community College.
«I understand that many think that young people are unable to do anything connected with politics. I want to challenge that,» said Alex Mikula.
Thinking about how to engage in politics, he attended the meetings of the city Council of Rock springs and noticed that there wasn’t his peers.
«It is the year 2020. I feel that there should be a change. New blood. New, fresh ideas.»

According to him, modern problems require modern solutions.
«You need to develop, you need to adapt, and you should be able to be impartial. I feel I have these qualities. I want to personally involve our community, I want to talk face to face with the people I represent,» said Mikula.
Alexander Mikula was born in Sevastopol (Crimea) and lives in Wyoming with 3 years.
«I want to earn the trust of our community. I want people to know who I am. I want to know what kind of person is to submit them. We need more diversity in the political system. So I decided to start with city Council. For example, I know that we have in the city — a very serious problem with drugs. I want to find out how we can fight this drug crisis and to find a solution that will help protect our children.»
