Senior Chinese official predicts victory over the outbreak of coronavirus, as the number of new cases in the country has reached a six-week low.
Tuesday, March 3, the country’s Ministry of health announced that over the past 24 hours revealed only 125 new cases COVID-19, the lowest level since since January 21, the authorities began to publish national data.
In total 80151 people fell ill with infection in China, 2943 people died.

Meanwhile, the situation in South Korea is becoming more severe. On Tuesday, the country experienced the biggest daily increase in new cases, most cases in the city of Daegu and the surrounding area. A total of 5186 people in South Korea tested positive for the virus.
In Iran, where 2300 people got sick, and 77 people died, the Supreme leader — Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the armed forces to help health officials fight the outbreak.
In Italy 2036 people became ill and 52 died. Officials say that determining the effectiveness of quarantine and other containment measures in 11 cities in the North can take up to two weeks.
In USA more than 100 people were infected at least 11 States. Six people died in Washington state, including four elderly residents from the same nursing home.
