The night before, the President of the United States Donald trump is actually refused his offer (which was announced the same morning) on the establishment of joint units of cybersecurity.
«The fact that President Putin and I discussed the division of Cyber Security, doesn’t mean I think it’s really going to happen,» trump wrote on Twitter tonight.
Recall, prior to that, trump tweeted that we should «constructively» to work with Russia, including in the field of cybersecurity to prevent, in particular, break-ins during the election process.
Perhaps the reason for such a dramatic «rollback» was that trump’s initiative provoked sharp opposition of the leading politicians of the Republican party. So, Senator Lindsey Graham was «stunned»; Senator John McCain laughed at this plan, but Senator Marco Rubio has compared this proposal with the fact as if trump has offered cooperation on chemical weapons Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

So by the end of the day, trump focused on how the agreement with Putin, which, however, met support — the agreement on ceasefire in parts of Syria.
«It will save the lives of many,» wrote the President.
