This weekend Ivanka trump was at the center of a diplomatic scandal. The Chancellor said: «the Delegations to decide whether the President not to attend the meeting, and who then will take responsibility and sit down in his chair. This is not the first manifestation of participation and favor from Merkel in relation to Ivanka trump. In April, the Chancellor of Germany invited her to take part in the summit W20 in Berlin. Together they have performed at the event dedicated to women’s entrepreneurship, along with Christine Lagarde, head of the International monetary Fund and the Queen of the Netherlands.
Despite the overall rather cold reception Ivanka trump at the summit during the gala dinner, held a few hours later, Merkel thanked first daughter because she called for the summit. «I hope we were a good audience for you and that you will gather new ideas,» said the Chancellor.
