A new poll shows that the public trust rating of the Governor of new York Andrew Cuomo has reached its maximum for the last 3 years.
The survey, published on Wednesday, Siena College, showed that 61% of respondents are positive about the Governor and only 31% negatively. Trust rates are much higher than in the previous month (54%). Moreover, this is the highest rating of trust to Cuomo since June 2014.
According to the survey, 51% of respondents believe the job Cuomo is excellent, and a good Governor, while 46% say he did nothing special. Last month the work of the Governor were positive in only 47% of new Yorkers.
Cuomo is considered a possible presidential candidate in 2020.
The telephone survey was conducted may 15-21 among 770 registered voters in new York and has an error of +/- 4 %.
