BuzzFeed claims that the ex-Minister Lesin was killed

According to information shared with BuzzFeed two FBI agents, a former Russian press Minister Mikhail Lesin was killed in Washington on the eve of a scheduled meeting with the U.S. Department of justice. Their words sparked new doubts about the official version of his death presented by the US government.

Battered body of Michael Lesina was discovered in the room at Dupont Circle in the morning of 5 November 2015, with a blunt head injury, neck and torso. After almost a year of «full investigation,» Federal Prosecutor announced in October last year that the death occurred as a result of multiple crashes in the state of alcoholic intoxication.
His death was ruled «accident» and the Prosecutor’s office closed the case.

But two FBI agents and a third agent, and employee of U.S. intelligence, said that Yassin really is beaten to death. None of these sources was not directly involved in the government’s investigation, but they learned about it from colleagues who were investigating the case.

An employee of the intelligence did not say how he learned that Lessin was killed, but said that the murder weapon was a baseball bat. Another source with access to data of the medical examination, reported that Lesin was also broken ribs — this item, which previously was not reported.

The FBI, which helped in the investigation, and the Ministry of justice declined to comment. The Prosecutor’s office of the district of Columbia stated that they also have nothing to add to the statements which were made last year.
