Airbnb offers to legalize the rent for up to 30 days, when the landlord is away

To the legislative Assembly of the state of new York entered a bill to legalize short-term rental housing (up to 30 days) for the time while his owner is out. This applies to those apartments, whose owners are not registered more than any other housing and who temporarily reside in it.

The bill has been lobbied by the company Airbnb , with the support of a member of the legislative Assembly, Democrat Joseph Lentol. Authors of the document hope that the bill will be something of a compromise in the issue of short term rentals and will bring direct benefit to owners of apartments or tenants who want to earn extra money at the time of his departure.

Will there be a bill and what his chances are not yet known, but some officials have issued his criticism.
