The city of Los Angeles finally found a solution to the painful problem of homelessness in the district — they will provide homeowners the money for the construction of housing for those who lost the roof over my head.
On Tuesday a pilot program «Granny flat» has received the unanimous approval of the Supervisory Board of the County of Los Angeles. Homeowners who have decided to participate in the project will receive 75 thousand dollars. For this amount they must each be built on its territory an additional living room that can take a homeless.

According to statistics, in the last 12 months on the streets of the County, settled 14 thousand person — that is, 23% more than last year. 34 thousand of homeless people settle in Los Angeles.
