Posing as policemen, two women robbed a Manhattan apartment

This month new York apartment, which is home to 78-year-old Gloria Santos, there was a robbery. It was done by two women, who introduced themselves as employees of law enforcement agencies.

It happened on August 17 in Manhattan’s Washington Heights. Around 19:30 in one of apartments of a residential building, located near West 189th Street and Wadsworth Avenue, there was a knock at the door.

When the landlady discovered the intruders, she saw two young women aged 18 to 25 years. They said they are with the police. Indeed, each of them was a COP, even though women were not dressed in uniforms.

Then they added that they are looking for 19-year-old grandson of Gloria. They knew his name and that he also lives in the apartment.

At that moment the young man was not at home, but the old lady allowed the «guardians of law and order» to go inside and search his things. Taking advantage of the trust of the mistress, lupolianski did $10,000 in cash.

But this is Gloria Santos found out after they left. Realizing that her apartment was «cleaned out», she called the real police.
