Police Illinois warns infected with sarcoptic mange in coyotes, which are similar to «zombie dogs».
As reported in the police Department Hanover Park, recently they received several reports from residents that in the surrounding area they met «the hunger and the creepy abandoned zombie dogs».
«But it’s NOT abandoned Pets, in fact it is the coyotes sick with sarcoptic mange,» reads the statement of the militiamen.
The subcutaneous mite or sarcoptic mange is a contagious skin disease of animals, caused by mites of the genus Scabiei.
In the state there is an increase in the incidence of the population of coyotes. This leads to the fact that nocturnal animals begin to emerge on the streets during the day. They do seem fragile and thin.
«These sick animals are usually not aggressive, but they should always be avoided», — told in the police Department. «Please don’t come to these coyotes and don’t let your Pets get close to them».
While in Cook County not registered any cases of coyote attacks on people, but you should still be careful.
