Sometimes the courage and dedication of strangers saves someone’s life, or even life. That’s exactly what happened yesterday, September 2, at Manhattan, on the train line C.

As it turned out, it was not a terrorist attack but a robbery. According to police, a suspect with a knife robbed a 28-year-old guy, then ran up to a 61-year-old man, but he refused to give up their things.
When Peter Kerre realized that only one assailant, he hurried to help, while the others all ran away.
The robber three times stabbed in the stomach by a man who refused to give their stuff. Perhaps he would have killed him if between the victim and the attacker did not get up Peter, and then the attacker retreated.
«The victim was conscious, though he had three gaping wounds, and said that he was ready to keep fighting,» said Peter.
When the train reached Columbus Circle, where the robber was waiting for the police. Arrested was 39-year-old resident of Manhattan Djamel Purnell him charged.
61-year-old wounded man was taken to hospital where he performed surgery, but doctors say he is in stable condition and will recover thanks to the stranger who came to his defense.
