Cashier McDonald’s tried to drown newborn son in the bathroom of the restaurant

Last week, the 25-year-old Sarah Lockner, working as a cashier in one of California’s fast food restaurants McDonald’s, gave birth to her son during his shift. This fact she tried to hide from employees and even dare to get rid of the newborn.

It happened on 4 September, in the city of Redwood city. Coming to work in the evening shift, Sarah began to complain to colleagues on pain in the abdomen, and under this pretext was often away in the bathroom. Despite permission from the Manager to go home, Lockner remained at work.

The last of its «absence» was so long that the concerned employee Sarah went to check on her. Going to the ladies room, my colleague noticed a lot of blood.

Looking over the stall door, where he was Lockner, another McDonald’s employee saw the following picture: the baby is lying inside the toilet, and Sarah presses the flush button on the tank. Moreover, the young mother pressed the baby’s back, trying to push him down.

Realizing that she was noticed, she asked a colleague not to call 911, but she did not listen to her. However, by that time, when the police arrived and ambulance, Lockner managed to gets newborn son out of the toilet and held him in her arms. But the victim already was not breathing, and his pulse was impalpable.

However, paramedics were able to revive the baby, and he is now in stable condition in a children’s hospital named Lucille Packard in Palo Alto.

Police arrested Lockner, and the district attorney of San MATEO has charged her with attempted murder and causing the child serious bodily injury. Investigators Sarah said that she and her boyfriend didn’t know about pregnancy, childbirth and sudden outbreak had plunged her into shock.

Now the girl was placed in a prison setting the amount for bail of $11 million. There she awaits trial, which is scheduled for next Monday. During the meeting Sarah needs to prosecute, and it will protect the state’s lawyer.

According to the Prosecutor Steve Wagstaffeif Sarah is found guilty, she «shines» a life sentence.
