Most of his winnings – $211 million – Quesada chose to take immediately. With taxes, this amount decreased to $152 million.

Before becoming the winner, Pedro owned a small grocery store. He was born in the Dominican Republic and in the States and moved as a teenager.

“Such a large sum would change my life. But my heart will remain the same,” said Pedro Quezada told reporters.

By November a significant portion of the winnings were already spent. For $300,000 Quesada bought a house in Clifton, new Jersey, has spent about $5 million for gifts to friends and relatives, and also donated $57 million to their homeland.

It is worth noting that Pedro Quezada already not for the first time sitting on the dock the next day after he took his millions, in his name was issued a warrant of arrest.

As a father of five children,a male from 2009, evaded from payment of means for the maintenance of one of them. In the end, Quesada had to transfer the child’s mother about $30,000.

Eight months later he was suing his ex-girlfriend, with whom they had relations for about ten years and are the parents of one child.

INES Sanchez demanded from Pedro to share with her winnings, because, in her words, some of the money spent on the purchase of a lottery ticket belonged to her. In the end, she withdrew the suit.

Claims to Quesada found his former neighbors: he promised to pay a month’s rent all residents of his district, but never kept his word.

Moreover, it received a complaint from a contractor, who stated that Pedro did not pay him for the repairs of a new home.

On September 25th will host the next meeting in his rape case. Now he is under arrest and is not entitled to be released on bail.

Still remains unknown where the victim was subjected to violence before , as Pedro Quezada became a millionaire or already after.
