A young mother from Mexico, grateful to my lucky star and of course the doctors who delivered her son on the street during a natural disaster.
When an earthquake with an amplitude of 7.1 points, Jessica Mendoza was in the hospital on the delivery table, reports El País.
The building began to totter, and the team of doctors and nurses quickly brought Jessica to the street they found an open, safe place, where they continued to do their job.
«Despite all that was happening around, I was completely detached from it. I didn’t hear anything», — said the girl. «I just remember that I had a husband, mother, my doctor and nurses. They made their way through the chaos to find a safe place. It was a miracle.»
Jessica’s mother is eternally grateful to Dr. Elizabeth Valencia for saving the life of his daughter and grandson, who was named Adolfo Inaki.
«This is a very light story the face of the enormous tragedy that was experienced in Mexico city, and the country,» said the woman. «If Adolfo had experienced this earthquake right at the time of his birth, he will overcome everything in life.»
Mexican earthquake has killed at least 230 people. It is expected that this number will increase to 1,000 after the rescuers will end up dismantling the wreckage.
