Brooklyn public library and Bard College offer a free training program

Bard College and the Brooklyn public library will provide an opportunity to get higher education completely free.

This winter fully accredited program «microcolor» will gather students in a public library. It will be aimed at those who are faced with insurmountable challenges when applying to College. As stated by Linda Johnson, President and CEO of the Brooklyn public library, the organizers have combined years of experience and a variety of resources as Bard College and the library to give people who previously could not afford higher education the opportunity to complete prestigious courses are College level. The program will also include classes for children of students.

Courses will focus on literary canons, designated teachers is professors from Bard College, materials will be taken from the Brooklyn library.

The record will be held in November. Students can also apply online on the official course website microcollege.bard.edu. In December will announce the names received, the initial group will consist of 16 people. Courses will begin in January 2018.
