Want to feel really old? The iconic Christmas movie «home Alone 2» this year marks 25 years (and better not to remember how old the first part). A quarter of a century – the term is not small, and therefore the Plaza hotel in new York decided to celebrate the anniversary special and give your customers the opportunity to be in place of Kevin McCallister.
The hotel is one of the key locations of the film, offers visitors to stay in the same room as the hero of the film, with «extra — large bed, a TV and a small fridge which can be locked». Cost is such a pleasure to be $895, which is not too different from the amount of the check ($967) that Kevin’s parents had to pay for his forced vacation in new York.
In addition to luxurious rooms, guests will have the opportunity to dine in Todd English Food Hall and try the new special menu, inspired by the era of the 90’s, and can also participate in interactive tours to new York, passing on the traces of the protagonist of the film «home Alone 2» to see the Empire State Building and Wollman, as well as to explore the city in a limousine. And of course it comes with a huge sundae with three balls, which for both cheeks ate greedily Kevin, enjoying life.
The only thing lacking to this offer – a chance to ask where is the reception, the President of trump, which was shown in the movie, filmed in the years when he owned the Plaza hotel (just don’t tell me you never noticed).
The Comedy «home Alone 2: lost in new York» was released on 14 November 1992. In it we meet again the family of MacAlister who fly on Christmas day to Florida. At the airport the fate of Kevin, the protagonist, gets on the wrong plane and instead of flying Miami to new York. Some days the boy spent in the Big Apple alone, staying at the Plaza and having fun from the heart. Meanwhile in the city there arrive the escaped robbers Harry and Marv, with which the boy fought in the previous film. And of course, they face one of the busy streets. Kevin learns that the criminals are going to Rob a toy store «Box of Duncan», and decides that they need to stop, which he does, showing unprecedented ingenuity.
