Trump wrote that detainees in China basketball players, had to leave jail

President Donald trump yesterday, Sunday, tweeted that he had to leave three players at the University of California (UCLA) in jail after they were arrested in China.

Trump’s tweet came when the father of one of the students questioned the President’s participation in the liberation of the players.

«Who? [Tramp?]», said Lavar Boll in an interview with ESPN. «Why was he there? Don’t tell me about it. Everybody wants to seem like he helped us.»

We will remind, three freshmen basketball players in early November was arrested in Shanghai for stealing glasses Louis Vuitton of the shopping centre adjacent to their property. The guys were threatened with jail time, but after talking trump with his Chinese counterpart XI Jinping, the students were released and they returned to America.

On Wednesday, trump asked Twitter to thank the athletes. «Do you think they will say «thank you» to the President? They were threatened with a 10-year period!» – wrote trump.

Later in the press conference, the players thanked the President.

«We are grateful to President Trump and the United States government because they took the time to intervene. We are very grateful that you help us,» said basketball player Cody Riley.

And all seemingly ended with a happy ending, but the comments of the father of one of the guys gave the story a second wind.

Lavar ball protecting his son said that one bad thing does not mean anything.

«He doesn’t understand what I did for his son, and thinks that stealing from a store is something minor. I had to leave them in jail!», — trump wrote on Twitter.

Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!
