Since 1927, Time magazine identifies a Person of the Year according to the editorial, «rewarding» that the title of a person or group of people who during the year has made the biggest impact on the world, what does matter it was positive or negative.
That is why the list often get rather ambiguous and notorious figures. For example, in 1938 the German Chancellor Adolf Hitler was awarded the title of «Man of the year» in 1939 – the Secretary General of the USSR Joseph Stalin.
Last year the title for the first time got Donald trump, who was elected President of America. Tomorrow Time need to call the most powerful man who may once again be the leader of the United States. But many are sceptical of his candidacy, because he recently said that refused the offer of the magazine to be the «Man of the year».
