In London on fire 24-storey skyscraper, and injured dozens of residents

No sooner had the Londoners recover from the recent attacks, the British capital was overtaken by a new problem — large-scale fire in a multistorey residential complex.

24-story skyscraper Grenfell Tower in North Kensington erupted in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday around 1:15. At the scene arrived 20 ambulances and 200 firefighters 40 cars. Despite the desperate efforts of the latter, the flames spread rapidly and soon engulfed the entire building from the second floor to the roof.

Hundreds of tenants were trapped in a fire. According to witnesses, the Windows were heard the cries for help. Some of the hostages of the fire tried to escape down an improvised rope of their associated bedding.

The London ambulance service reported hospitalization 30 casualties, but at this moment a considerable part of the tenants is missing.

The fire brigade said that the building could collapse at any moment. The Metropolitan police asked residents to avoid the affected areas.

The A40 is closed in both directions following the #NorthKensington fire. Pls avoid the area to allow emergency services access to the scene.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, as the exact number of victims.
