«Legionnaires ‘ disease» in Lenox hill: 1 person dead, 6 hospitalized

According to the health Department, one person died and six others were hospitalized after Contracting the so-called «Legionnaires ‘ disease» for the last 11 days in Lenox hill.

«Legionnaires ‘ disease» is not contagious and is treatable with standard antibiotics used in the treatment of pneumonia. Symptoms include fever, cough, chills, muscle pain, headache, fatigue, loss of appetite, confusion and diarrhea.
