The famous chef has provided to victims of «Florence» of 140 thousand free Lunches

During natural disasters to help victims rush national guard, the Red Cross and the chef World Central Kitchen Jose Andres.

On 13 September at World Central Kitchen has prepared more than 140 thousand free Lunches which were taken to 25 shelters, as well as in urgent care facilities, police departments, fire stations and just in the districts whose residents have not had the opportunity to go for food.

Despite the fact that floods hamper the work of the volunteers, Jose Andres says that his team will still deliver the food.

«Thank God, the storm had subsided, and people will soon be able to return to normal life,» said chef and owner of more than 20 restaurants in Washington, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and other cities.

World Central Kitchen is not the first time comes to help the victims. In 2017 after the hurricane «Maria» team Andres almost a year remained in Puerto Rico and during this time has prepared more than 3.6 million meals.

In June of this year, Jose Andres went to Guatemala to help victims of the eruption. He also delivered meals to the rescue workers who fought wildfires in California.
