JetBlue employees are struggling with stress, growing vegetables in JFK

How do you cope with daily stress? Someone is drinking the tea and biscuits, someone is sipping a beer at the TV screen, someone who likes to pop bubble wrap in the office… But in the company of JetBlue to its employees to offer «healthy» alternatives — garden. Yes, do not be surprised, in between the tense flight, the flight attendants and pilots come here to «communicate» with the earth, to sow the carrots, cabbage fertilize or to harvest onions. And, most amazing of all, without exception, are here happily waiting for the moment when it will be back again.

Garden JetBlue is the airport named George. Kennedy, in new York. But you won’t see here flocks of crows and other birds, eager to make money. Vegetables are selected such that do not have readily available seeds and not attract the attention of birds. This is onion, zucchini, fennel, garlic, potatoes – in total 26 types of vegetables.

The harvest employees of the airline are passed to Food Bank for New York City and thereby is not just relieve stress, but doing socially useful work.
