The Department of health of new York has published interesting data concerning the life expectancy of new Yorkers living in different parts of the city. It turns out that centenarians in the Big Apple are residents of the Upper East side and Murray hill. While the difference in life expectancy of the inhabitants of these regions-leaders and the rest of the city is very significant.

On average, in the Upper East side and Murray hill the life expectancy of the population is 85.9 years. But in an area with a very small lifetime — Brownsville — this figure is only 75.1 per year.

Different the level of life expectancy and race. Black and Hispanic new Yorkers live to an average of 77.3 years, and whites to 81,2 years.

The main reason for premature deaths in new York were cancer, heart disease and drug use, the study says.

Slightly increased and the infant mortality rate: per 1000 births in 2015 had a 4.3 death. Again, mortality is higher among children of black and Puerto Rican parents.
