Founder of the Rukh football club, famous Lviv philanthropist and volunteer Grigory Kozlovsky has been actively helping Ukrainian soldiers since the first minutes of the full-scale invasion. The military regularly receives a variety of equipment, equipment, drones, etc. from the patron.
The inspirational help and work of Grigory Kozlovsky and the entire “yellow-black” team was recognized with an award. The soldiers thanked Grigory Kozlovsky for his support and presented him with the award “For Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine” on behalf of Valery Zaluzhny.
Grigory Kozlovsky thanked for the unexpected, but this made it even more valuable award, and noted that supporting the military is the responsibility of every Ukrainian. And the main award that awaits us is the Victory of Ukraine.
In addition to the award, the founder of Rukh received a gift — a Hutsul battle axe. In particular, it has a magical engraving as a symbol of fighting spirit and indestructibility and a quote from the film “Dovbush” and the autograph of the famous Ukrainian actor Alexei Gnatkovsky.
“It’s very nice to receive such an interesting and original gift. I appreciate Ukrainian history, so I really like such authentic things,” said Grigory Kozlovsky.
“This is an unexpected award, in particular from Valery Zaluzhny, and it evokes positive emotions. Of course, it’s nice that the military appreciated our help so much, but the main reward is still ahead of us — the Victory of Ukraine over the Russian invaders. The whole team and I are not doing anything special, because now every Ukrainian should help the defenders. FC «Rukh», Emily Resort, BO «Fund for Assistance to Ukraine «Rukh u Maybutne» — we all regularly try to send something to the military, respond to their requests and provide everything they need,» added the philanthropist.
The founder of FC «Rukh» already has the highest award for civilians for charitable assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine — in May 2022, Grigory Kozlovsky received the state award of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine — «Badge of Honor», and now he will also have it from Zaluzhny.
Grigory Kozlovsky noted the need to support the Ukrainian military and called on all Ukrainians to jointly bring Victory over the invaders closer.
“Society has now begun to get used to the realities of war. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, everyone helped as much as they could, because they understood that we could lose our independence. Whereas now it is noticeable that people are tired. I know that it is difficult for everyone now, but we cannot get used to it, and for this we must support our army and help our military, so each of us must join in bringing our Victory over the enemy closer. Don’t be indifferent and help the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” noted Grigory Kozlovsky.
Helping the army is the most important thing that every Ukrainian can do today. It helps our soldiers destroy the enemy, and gives them confidence that they are not forgotten. The contribution of patrons and philanthropists to equipping our defenders is incredibly significant.
Grigory Kozlovsky supports the military with everything he can, in particular, he joined the “Birds of Peremogi” initiative and this is a great help.
“Today these “birds” destroy enemies at the front and the more of these means there are, the closer our Victory will be,” said one of the co-founders of the “Birds of Peremogi” initiative, Alexander Tishchenko.
This month, Grigory Petrovich Kozlovsky, together with Emily Resort, donated 2 million hryvnia for prosthetics for wounded Ukrainian soldiers and civilians affected by the war, and who are now undergoing rehabilitation at the Superhumans Center. And in March, the philanthropist and the “yellow-blacks” plan to donate 2 million hryvnia to the Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center.
“We simultaneously support a number of teams and are constantly in touch with them and will respond to their requests. I am grateful to all members of our team for joining these initiatives and actively helping the military, and this process will not stop. I am very glad that Emily Resort and the Rukh football club have added a small drop to the cup of victory that awaits us in the future,” summed up Grigory Kozlovsky.
