Company Boring Company, whose office is located in Los Angeles, currently deals with the fact that digging underground tunnels for transport networks. Another startup, Hyperloop One, working to build high-speed trains that can accelerate to the speed of sound.
«From one city center to another,» said Musk, referring to new York and Washington. – «With dozens of inputs/outputs in each city.»
Later, answering a question on Twitter, a techno-genius stressed that the main priority of his company Boring Co. will be in Los Angeles.
«The first set of tunnels to ease the situation with traffic in Los Angeles. Line NY-DC will be run in parallel. They will be followed by the line LA-SF-and-loop TX».
In his statement, Musk did not specify which government authorities gave him permission to implementation of the project «new York-Washington.»
Elon Musk is best known as the head of Tesla and SpaceX. He first introduced plans to create a hybrid, vacuum automated Hyperloop transport system in 2013.
