Yesterday, 25 July, a year after the brutal murder of 50-year-old Craig Ridout court jury in Rochester, new York, pleaded guilty in the death of a man his wife and son. They face 15 to 25 years in prison.

The crime was committed in a country house, belonging to the family, 19 July 2016, when the couple was going through a difficult divorce process. Craig was beaten and strangled, and after his face is doused with acid that the body was impossible to identify.
Then his body was wrapped in a tarp and hid in a wooded area beside the road near the finger lakes, 40 miles from Rochester.
But the next day the body was discovered by a local resident who called the police. The body was really difficult to identify, but the killer made a big mistake, forgetting to check the pockets of the dead man: they had found the cell phone, which still worked.
Conducting the autopsy allowed to establish that the man died from the violent strangulation, and with the help of dental records Craig medical experts agreed that the body really belongs to him.
Next week wife of the murdered man, 46-year-old Laura Ridout and her two sons, 20-year-old Alexander and 23-year-old Colin, has announced suspects in the murder and was arrested. After a few months, suspicion fell on 51-year-old Paul Tucci, with whom Laura was in a relationship.
But further investigation has allowed to establish that in the immediate death of Craig Ridout was attended by his wife and eldest son, Alexander, only helped to hide evidence of the crime, and Tucci was not guilty.
Evidence was the video footage from surveillance cameras at the supermarket, Walmart, where the day before the murder of Colin bought a shovel and four pairs of working gloves. On the same day, Laura and Paul Tucci purchased for cash three bottles of potent tools for cleaning gutters, diet coke, tarpaulin and rubber cords in another store.
Shovel and four pairs of work gloves, similar to those that Colin bought at Walmart, was found near the body of the victim. They were attended by traces of his blood.
The police also found witnesses who reported that he saw the day after the assassination of his father Alexander and Colin threw a sack of solvent, gloves and to clean the drains in the pond of one of the parks in Rochester.
Yesterday Laura and Colin were found guilty of second-degree murder and falsifying evidence. Moreover, Laura was charged with another and robbery. The minimum term of punishment in prison, which they «Shine» is 15 years, maximum – 25 years.

Alexander was acquitted of the charges of committing murder, however, he is guilty of falsifying evidence. He faces 4 years in prison.

The only one of all the accused came out from the courtroom in handcuffs was Paul Tucci. He was recognized innocent.

In April this year, his son Theodore was arrested for the presence on his personal computer, child pornography. Investigators were trying to find in the computer data associated with the murder Ridout, but nothing was found.
Final verdict for Laura, Colin and Alexander will be submitted September 1, 2017.
