Money is nothing to sneeze at, but in the «dryer» – it may well be. At least, this finding is not uncommon for Steven Ledo, working in the Laundry room of The Miriam hospital in the city of Providence, Rhode island.
Previously, he had to deal only with coins or small bills. But last month during his shift Stephen accidentally tore a big jackpot. Or rather, could disrupt.
Finding on the floor a few dollars, he looked inside one of the dryer, which suddenly turned into a treasure chest: there were a few dozen bills $100, $50, $20, $10, $5 and even $1.
The man collected them in one pile and counted. It turned out that Stephen holds in his hands the sum of $9,100.
“It was a ton of money,” – says the discovery of a 62-year-old Steven Ledo .
Having worked in a hospital for 19 years, he said that over the years nothing like it has happened.
In addition to «tidy» amount at the bottom of the dryer, under deep layers of notes lay passport of one of the patients.
Ledo given the document and the entire amount of the senior staff who have found the woman of Mature age, and gave her back her money.
“The look on her face was priceless: excitement, joy, relief,” recalls Joe Gordon Rasner, who met with the patient. She was already discharged from the hospital.
