A glimpse of Central Park there was a statue of trump

On Wednesday in Central Park there was a statue of President Donald trump in the role of a street artist, selling sketches. Sitting on the bench tramp feeding pigeons, bright blue birds, well, that very much resembled the logo of Twitter.

The sculpture, the author of which is artist Alex Gardega, called Trumpsy. Next to the smiley trump is a portrait of Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong UN, the top morning show Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, and a couple of sketches, which complement the image of the free Creator.

Gardega said that his statue should not be regarded as installation in support of trump, or, on the contrary, as an art object, condemning him. Rather, it is the epitome of the observations of the artist about the love of the President to Twitter and his behavior in this social network. The artist said that he wanted to imagine how would look like Mr. trump in the form of street artist, because it is the opposite of the fate of billionaire and politician.

The sculpture has been on the bench in the Park between Fifth Avenue and East 76th Street just a few hours, after which Gardega he removed it. But the artist has promised that she’ll be back next week.

In may Gardega made the front pages of Newspapers, setting his sculpture «pissing pug» near «Fearless girl» on wall street. But after the audience is not too favorably responded to a pug, he began to establish their own installations exclusively for a short time, sufficient to obtain reaction from the crowd. But pug, in spite of the cold, appeared again, and this time it was installed next to a portrait Korean leader.

Gardega also said that his next job will be related to mayor de Blasio: «He’s a heavy sleeper. That’s all I’ll say.»
