Problems with the foster parents
It all began 16 years ago, when Rebecca Ruud abandoned newborn daughter. The girl adopted and raised the couple from Minnesota, but when she became a teenager, his parents divorced and the adoptive mother found another man. Savannah did not get along with her new boyfriend and thinking about moving.

Strange fire

For sleep, relaxation and study (the school girl did not go), she was given a place in a stuffy trailer, but for the slightest mistake she was brutally punished. In particular, the penalty Ruud forced Savannah to crawl through the barn for the pigs, and when the daughter accidentally cut her hand the mother every day showered her wound with salt.
A terrible discovery
Three law enforcement officers searched the farm Ruud — two times in her absence. On 4 August they came upon a fresh pile of ash, hidden under the leaves. Forensics scraped away the ashes and found there fragments of human bones belonging to a missing girl. The condition of the remains indicated that they were subjected to chemical attack is reported in the Washington Post, citing court records.
At the moment, investigators are trying to determine whether Savannah burned or killed her before the fire. One thing is clear: the girl’s death was awful — investigators left the scene with a box in which lay her clothes, hair, a knife grinder and a few bottles of lye.
On Monday, Ruud was arrested on suspicion of murder with aggravating circumstances. The prosecution could insist on the death penalty for criminals.
