The woman claims that she was raped on Board the American Airlines plane

The rudeness of the staff, faulty equipment, death of animals and even the drunk pilots — all these are the realities of passenger air transportation in the United States who are outraged, but not surprised by the passengers.

It turns out that there is another danger that could await women on Board — sexual violence. The victim of such crimes in June last year was Aubrey lane, a real estate broker from Colorado. The crime occurred on Board flight American Airlines Phoenix new York. A drunken passenger abused the victim in the toilet of the plane, but was not detained after landing.

To smooth the incident, the airline offered the victim $5 thousand compensation, but lane refused. A woman is planning to sue the carrier causing such.

Representatives of American Airlines confirmed the publication foxnews.com that the incident really took place, but assured that since the company much has changed for the better.

Aubrey lane is not the only woman who have experienced violence in the airline industry last year. A victim of similar crimes was a former military pilot and a veteran of Afghanistan Betty Pina.

The victim filed a lawsuit against the employer. According to the court, her abuser is still working on the same positions.
