A U.S. startup has announced plans to develop the aircraft that will fly at a speed five times the speed of sound and transport passengers between new York and London in 90 minutes or less.
Aerospace company Hermeus Corporationbased in Atlanta (Georgia), said that he had received funding from sponsors and private investors for the development of similar aircraft.

If the project is successful, it could revolutionize the commercial transatlantic flights. Currently, the flight between London and new York takes more than 7 hours.
The creators hope that the plane can reach speeds of 4600 miles per hour.
«We went a long way to revolutionize the global transport infrastructure, to radically increase the speed of moving long distances,» said CNN’s A. J. Piplica, co-founder of Hermeus.
Among the founders of Hermeus former employees of SpaceX, a startup Elon musk, and Blue Origin, a secret space companies Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon. They all previously worked to develop a hypersonic rocket plane latest X-Plane United States air force.
