Trump intends to ban entry to the United States to residents of several countries

The administration of President trump is planning to expand the list of countries subject to travel ban, which bans nearly all citizens of these countries to travel or immigrate to the United States.

«We are adding several countries to the prohibition, — said trump at a press conference at the world economic forum in Davos. — You see what is happening in the world. Our country needs to be safe.»

It is expected that new restrictions will be announced next Monday. According to Politico, citing sources in the White house, a travel ban will spread to Nigeria, Sudan, Tanzania, Eritrea, Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.

Deputy press Secretary of the White house Hogan Gigli declined to comment on the upcoming action but said the travel ban was successful.

«If the country wants to fully participate in the programs of immigration to the United States, it must also comply with all necessary security measures and the fight against terrorism,» said Gigli.

Trump signed the original version of the travel ban in the first week of the execution of their duties three years ago.

The Supreme court upheld the third version of the ban that prohibits travel or immigration to the United States, almost all citizens of Iran, Syria, Yemen, Libya and Somalia, North Korea and Venezuela. The ban initially included Iraq and Sudan, but in the end, these countries lifted restrictions.

Note that the restrictions against Venezuela mostly extended to members of government agencies and their families.
