They are hidden from view and often go unnoticed.

Waterfalls in Southern California off Pasadena on the Eaton Canyon Trail is the Eaton Canyon Falls (pictured). Malibu has more than just beaches and sand. Hidden in the Santa Monica Mountains near the Winding Way Trail is the beautiful Escondido Falls.

Another cascade of Sturtevant Falls is located on a 14 km route in the Santa Anita Canyon. Its height is 15.24 meters. In Orange County, Holy Jim Falls can be seen along the Saint Jim Trail and has a calming effect on visitors.

Heart Rock Falls is the perfect place for lovers in Crestline at the end of a two-mile loop (pictured). The waterfall falls from the rocks, one of which has a hole in the shape of a heart. Isn't it romantic?

Another heavenly place is located in Arcadia — Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Many visitors escape here from the bustle of the city. Thousand Oaks is home to the stunning Paradise Falls. You can admire its beauty during a 2-hour walk through Wildwood Park.

Waterfall in the desert is always spectacular. One of them — Tahquitz Falls — is located in Riverside County and is easy to spot when walking through this area (pictured). Outside of San Diego, there is a hiking trail that runs through Ramon. It also leads to Cedar Creek Falls, which is best visited in spring, autumn or summer.

And finally, a pleasant surprise awaits everyone who chooses to walk along the Fish Canyon trail near Duarte. It is open to the public all year round and leads to Fish Canyon Falls. This is an ideal place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city at any time of the year.
