Sunday, September 10, the authorities of Georgia in preparation for the hurricane Irma declared a state of emergency in all districts. The state was forced to take such measures after the national weather service warned of tropical storms in Atlanta for the first time in the history of the city, reports Fox News.

The national weather service has issued a warning about tropical storms in the County of Dodge. According to weather forecasts in the morning on Monday and Tuesday, the wind gusts will reach speeds of 60 mph.

According to the authorities, Irma, becoming a category 3 hurricane after lunch on Sunday, may damage the entrances, canopies and floating mobile homes.

Monday and Tuesday will be closed the offices of state bodies, as well as several schools.

Sunday at 9 a.m. the category 4 hurricane Irma reached the United States, unleashed on the shores of the Florida Keys. The wind speed reached 130 mph, accompanied by heavy rains.
