The level of heat in Chicago broke at least one record this week, and the situation continues to worsen. On Wednesday, the city had recorded air temperature at 92 degrees Fahrenheit.

In weekend to Chicago also do not expect the cold snap. The air temperature in the city will remain in the range 88-92 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperature rises above 92 degrees – another temperature record will be broken.

In the history of the city, the air temperature reached 92 degrees after September 20 only 5 times: in 1895, 1931, 1937, 1953 and 1971.

Overall, this weekend in Chicago will be partly cloudy, but no precipitation. More the weather will be Sunny. Thus, humidity in the city will also increase.

Meteorologists promise that abnormal for this time of year the heat will remain in Chicago, at least until Tuesday.
