As predicted by meteorologists, the main danger of a tornado threatens the Midwest: Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Illinois, South Dakota, and Northern and Central Texas.

«Of course, it will not be a record storm for the region, but it may be the strongest since the beginning of 2018. The fact that you only require one powerful tornado in a densely populated area, so there was a threat to people’s lives. Therefore, residents of these States should take seriously to all warnings and follow the news of the weather,» said meteorologist Brian Knopik.

The storm will sweep over the Middle West in the early days of next week — 30 April and 1 may. Mid-week, the risk of a tornado will drop, but the region will continue thunderstorms, gusty winds, possible flooding in some areas.

By the end of the week the cyclone presumably will shift to the South, in the valley of the Mississippi and on the coast.
