In the nearest weekend in the North-East coast of the US could strike first this season extratropical cyclone that meteorologists called a nor’easter.
According to forecasters, Nor’easterстанет an echo of the hurricane «Villa», released on the mainland in Mexico last night, October 23, with the power of the 3rd category and winds up to 193 km/h.
Moving to the North-Eastern United States, «Villa» will subside and the face of the cold air masses from the Atlantic, eventually will turn into a cyclone nor’easter.
This means for the region, heavy rains and gusty winds that cause flooding some areas and shortages in the supply of electricity.
Nor’easter coming to the northeast on Friday evening or Saturday morning.
To 7.6 inches of rain is expected in the Richmond (Virginia), Baltimore (MD), Philadelphia (PA), Washington (D.C.), new York, new Jersey and Boston (mA).
In the mountainous areas of New England possible heavy snowfall, turning into rain.
Gusts of wind these days can reach 45-60 km/h.
