Anomalous winter: in new York, beaten temperature record warm in January

On the calendar, we will remind, on January, but on the past weekend in new York it was more like spring.

According to the National weather service, the temperature in Central Park on Saturday morning had reached 65 degrees, surpassing a record high of 63 degrees in 1975 (respectively +18 and +17 Celsius).

Sunday, January 12, temperature in new York reached 66 degrees Fahrenheit (up 18.8 Celsius), but since the beginning of the new week on Big Apple more approaching cold front will bring a drop in temperature, heavy rains and possibly a thunderstorm.

Monday, January 13, in the North-East of the United States expected winds reaching 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Warning of gusty squall works South-East of the state of new York, northeast new Jersey and southern Connecticut.

On Monday will begin a gradual temperature decrease. On this day in new York will be partly cloudy with the sun air will get warm to 49 degrees Fahrenheit (about 10 Celsius). The average temperature this week are expected to be 39-40 degrees Fahrenheit (about +5 Celsius).
