Storm in Chicago: huge hail and fallen trees (photo, video)

A separate severe storms struck the Northwest suburbs of Chicago yesterday, July 21, day.
Particularly hard hit Schaumburg. There had a great castle, was a strong storm on the streets of uprooted trees.

Several streets were flooded, and motorists are urged to drive around them. Flooded:
1. The intersection of Georgian and Marie streets
2. Osage lane to Schaumburg road
3. The intersection of Springinsguth and Weathersfield Way
4. The intersection of Weathersfield Way and Cedarcrest Drive
5. Salem drive North of Schaumburg Road
6. Schaumburg road West of Pleasant drive — the street is not only flooded, but blocked by a fallen tree.

Recall of the counties in northeast Illinois, particularly cook County, still remain a disaster area because of severe flooding after a sharp rise in water levels in the rivers.

A. J. Bolano was in the truck when the ice balls started to fall from the sky. «It was just mega-grad. I was afraid to get out of the car,» he told CBS 2.

The hurricane also damaged a gas pipeline at Roselle Road, there is a possible gas leak. Thousands of people around Chicago were left without electricity.
Fortunately, the people who are affected are not reported.
