Yesterday in Moscow the head of the organization «Christian state Holy Russia» Alexander Kalinin was arrested on suspicion of arson of cars near the office of the lawyer Konstantin Dobrynin, who is a defender of the film «Matilda» by Alexei Uchitel.
Together with him were arrested two more men. The wife of Kalinin Marina confirmed to Reuters that her husband was arrested, and also reported that one of those arrested is the brother of the leader of the organization. She assured that Kalinin was not involved in the arson.
As it became known, «the Christian state of Holy Russia» is the Russian of the unregistered organization. She became widely known in late January after the release of the film «Matilda», which tells about the romantic relationship of the heir to the Russian throne Nicholas Romanov and dancer of the Imperial theatre Mathilde Kschessinska. Members of the Orthodox group called the painting blasphemous and defamatory to the name of the canonized Tsar Nicholas II. The organization has sent to the Russian cinema of the letter with the requirement to refuse advertising and rolled, threatening arson.

Nationalist of the «Russian national Union» Vasily Kryukov said «the Medusa» that «a Christian state» created with the support of the FSB. Despite the fact that there is no evidence the former MP had not provided, not only he believes that the organization tied with the security service. Another nationalist and the Chairman of the party «Great Russia» Andrey Savelyev has declared «Medusa» that Kalinin «former warrant officer of the FSB.» «This organization of bandits under the roof of the police or the FSB, which performs different kind of dirty work on the orders of their masters,» — said Saveliev.
«Medusa» notes that there is no evidence that the organization has any supporters and regional offices. Legal entity with the same or similar name is not registered in Russia.
