Fire in South Korean hospital, 30 dead, 77 injured

Dozens of patients were the victims of a deadly fire at a hospital in South Korea. According to local authorities, at least 30 people died and another 77 were injured — 10 of them is in serious condition. Most of the victims are elderly.

The tragic incident occurred on Friday morning in the town of Miryang, 270 km from Seoul. Referring to the chief of the local fire Department, CNN reports that the fire occurred at 7:35 in the emergency room of the medical complex Sejong.

At this point in the two buildings of the hospital were 194 people, including 94 newcomers, elderly patient.

The cause of the flames is being investigated. President mun Cain gathered an emergency meeting in connection with the incident, but details have not been disclosed.
