Today, April 27, long-awaited for the world event, and especially to the Korean people. Two countries, 65 years of technically being in a state of war, formally agreed to make peace.
The head of the DPRK Kim Jong-UN and the President of the Republic of Korea moon Jae In has signed the Declaration of Panmunjom for peace, prosperity and unification on the Korean Peninsula. This document was the result of the summit with participation of heads of two States and their 30-minute talks behind closed doors on the eve of the signing.

«The two leaders solemnly declared in front of 80 million Koreans and the world that the Korean Peninsula will be no more war and thus begins a new era of peace», — stated in the Declaration.
Standing next to the moon in front of the House, Kim turned to international media, stating that the citizens of both Koreas is one people, and must do everything to reunite.
After the signing ceremony itself, the North Korean leader in his speech did not mention anything about the DPRK’s nuclear programme, but in the joint Declaration on this issue reads as follows:
«South and North Korea agreed to make every effort to seek international community’s support and cooperation in efforts to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula».
The next step in de-escalation of the Korean conflict should be an extra summit, but with the possible participation of the United States and China. This is done in order to establish «a system of lasting peace» (as stated in the Declaration), i.e. to sign a peace Treaty. It was under these circumstances may occur first in history meeting of the US President and the leader of North Korea.
In turn Donald trump welcomed the meeting of Kim and moon, and they achieved agreement with the traditional message in Twitter. «The Korean war ends!» — said the head of the White house.

By the way, Kim Jong-UN became the first leader of North Korea, set foot on South Korean territory since the end of hostilities on the Peninsula. According to the North Korean leader, he sincerely hoped that every citizen of North and South Korea will be able to follow his example.
