The office of the Federal Antimonopoly service in the Komi Republic (Russia) made a decision in the case of «improper advertising».
Earlier, near the entrance to the restaurant «Lucky Star» in the shopping center «Maxi» in Syktyvkar (capital of Komi) put the cardboard construction in the shape of US President Donald trump.
In one hand a cardboard trump holding a tray full of food, and the thumb of the other hand raised in a gesture of approval. On the jacket, trump has the name of the restaurant.
According to the news Agency, the BOC, the case was instituted against OOO «Orion» at the request of a citizen.
Komi OFAS concluded that the advertisement contains «untrue information about the approval of Donald trump of the restaurant «Lucky Star». Note that by law, no advertising may be an indication that the object of advertising is approved by officials of state authorities of any country.
In a press release, the antitrust Agency said that the company «Orion» has given the order to stop the spread of improper advertising. Officials are brought to administrative responsibility.
According to BNK, earlier Komi OFAS opened a case for using pictures of American Director Quentin Tarantino. In is Quentin Tarantino’s «endorsed» the construction of a residential complex in Syktyvkar, moreover, is mentioned as if Tarantino decided to buy it a few apartments.
